Studio Q started as Studio Que in 1980. It was a student produced in-studio interview show filmed and edited in Kingston’s local community access cable studio (then Cablenet 13).
In 1985, the show was incorporated under Queen’s A.M.S. In the 1989-1990 season it switched to a more “newscast” style format, which is what the show was like when I became involved with it in the 1990-1991 season.
